2018 Nissan Leaf at 2017 Thai Motor Expo - Live

After showcasing the 2018 Nissan Leaf at 2017 Dubai Motor show and the 2017 Tokyo Motor show, Nissan has brought the EV to the 2017 Thai Motor Expo.

The 2018 Nissan Leaf incorporates a completely new design inspired by the Nissan IDS Concept. The second generation model has a conventional and sporty look, which is the opposite of the original model. Inside, there are traces of the other latest production models, such as the Nissan Micra. The second-gen Nissan Leaf is 4,480 mm long, 1,790 mm wide, and 1,540 mm tall. It has a 2,700 mm wheelbase and a 150 mm ground clearance.

The 2018 Nissan Leaf is powered by an updated version of the EM57 electric motor. The new EM57 electric motor generates 150 PS from 3,283-9,795 rpm and 320 Nm of torque from 0-3,283 rpm. A 40 kWh battery pack is standard. A full charge using a 3 kW/6 kW charger takes 16 hours/8 hours. Using a quick charger, though, it takes only 40 minutes to charge from alert to 80%.

Noteworthy features of the 2018 Nissan Leaf include two-tone roof, unique V-motion grille, sleek LED headlamps with a floating boomerang signature, 17-inch aero design wheels, diffuser-style rear bumper with blue highlights, LED rear combination lamps, 7-inch full-colour driver information display, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, seats with blue stitching, e-Pedal, ProPILOT and ProPILOT Park.
