Check out the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 in the new shade of Green

The 2019 Bajaj Dominar was seen rolling off the assembly line in a shade of green. However, this particular colour option is reserved for exports and will not be sold in India. Regular readers would know that Bajaj offers the option to exports. In fact, we reported images of a green Dominar 400 from Russia back in October. For 2019, the motorcycle drops the golden alloy wheels for black coloured ones with silver spoke highlights.

The outgoing Dominar 400 could not achieve the optimistic target of 10,000 units per month sales, and thus, Bajaj equipped the motorcycle with loads of updates for 2019 with an aim to boost its appeal.

The 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 would feature a split-style instrument console, an updated suspension setup with upside-down telescopic forks and new exhaust design. The motorcycle would also get stylish new rear-view mirrors. Other changes include repositioned front disc brake, new design for the crash guards, a longer rear fender and a redesigned brake oil reservoir for the rear.

Apart from giving the motorcycle a mild makeover, Bajaj is also said to have filtered out the vibration issue that haunts the outgoing model. The new model is supposedly far more refined.

Mechanical specifications are still a secret, but a recent report claimed that the motorcycle would arrive with a motor that has identical performance numbers as the outgoing model. Thus, the 2019 Dominar 400 would continue with the 373 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 35 PS of power and 35 Nm of peak torque. The motor will send the power to the rear wheel via a six-speed transmission and feature a slipper clutch.

With updated hardware, the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 would most definitely arrive at a premium over the outgoing model, and you could be looking at an INR 15,000-20,000 price hike over its predecessor. The motorcycle would be available in a single variant, featuring a dual-channel ABS.
