Zigwheels reports that the 2019 Ford Figo (facelift) will launch in India next month. The updated version of the company's Maruti Swift-rival has already been spotted testing on numerous occasions. The mid-cycle update for the B1-segment hatchback will be similar in nature to the 2018 Ford Aspire. Additionally, spy images have previously revealed that the facelifted hatchback would even get a CNG variant, which will be sold as the 'Ford Figo Blu'.

The 2019 Ford Figo (facelift) will carry the same styling changes as the export-spec new model.

The 2019 Ford Figo (facelift) will feature a thoroughly revised front facade, which carries a new mesh-type upper grille and a revised bumper with C-shaped chrome appliques near its corners. The side profile stays the same, with the difference arising out of the new alloy wheels on the top-end trim. The rear gets a bolder bumper.

The highlight of the interior will be an updated dashboard that will be similar to that on the Ford Freestyle. The top-spec trim will boast a 6.5-inch SYNC 3.0 touchscreen infotainment unit, while the lower variants will have a 7.0-inch FLY unit. The higher versions will even offer a push start-stop button. The standard safety suite across all trims will comprise dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD and front row seatbelt reminder (SBR). The top-spec model is expected to offer six airbags and an emergency assistance service.

Powering the 2019 Ford Figo (facelift) will be the same set of engines that are offered on the refreshed Aspire. These include 1.2-litre and 1.5-litre three-cylinder Dragon engines that replace the four-pot versions that are currently available. The diesel variant will retain the current 1.5-litre four-cylinder unit, which could get a minor re-tune for a slightly higher fuel economy.
