The 2019 Hyundai Tucson has a sharper front-end.

The new model features the signature Cascading grille, tweaked headlamps and DRLs and reprofiled bumper. On the sides, there are newly designed alloy wheels. At the rear, changes are the reshaped tail lamps with new graphics, revised bumper and redesigned exhaust finisher.

The 2019 Hyundai Tucson has a new centre console design. Elegantly designed horizontal twin air vents replace the separately placed vertical air vents. Above is a floating display for the infotainment system. A 7-inch display comes standard, but an 8-inch display is available. With the mid-cycle refresh, the SUV gains Qi wireless charging and second-row USB charging as well. Safety enhancements are the Surround View Monitor, Smart Cruise Control with Stop-and-Go and High-Beam Assist.

Hyundai introduces newly developed 115 PS and 133 PS 1.6-litre diesel engines on the European spec Tucson. The 115 PS version will come paired with a 6-speed manual transmission that sends power to the front wheels. The 133 PS version will come paired a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. Buyers going for this version get an AWD option.

The maximum power of the 2.0-litre diesel engine has risen by 1 PS to 186 PS. More importantly, this engine will come linked to a 6-speed manual transmission or a newly-developed 8-speed automatic transmission (instead of the optional 6-speed automatic transmission) now.

The Hyundai Tucson has gained 1.6L diesel engines and an 8-speed AT with the mid-cycle refresh.
