The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 250 with the red paint is available at Rp 75,500,000 (approximately INR 3.71 lakh) in the Indonesian market. The KRT Edition retails at Rp 75,000,000 (approximately INR 3.69 lakh). In the non-ABS, black/green colour, the price is IDR 67,800,000 (approximately INR 3.33 lakh).

The KIPASS (Kawasaki's Intelligent Proximity Activation Start System) technology allows activation of the main key and handlebars via a remote. Premium products in Kawasaki’s portfolio such as the 1400GTR use a similar system.

Apart from the Smart Key feature, the Kawasaki Ninja 250 receives visual upgrades in the form of a new paint scheme - red and black. Red paint has been used as the base, while the black shade adds contrast to the styling. The black colour is visible on the fairing, sides and on the lower half of the rear panel. “Ninja” branding on the fairing gets a stealthy look with black paint.

Apart from the new paint scheme and the Smart Key System, everything is the same. Like the 2018 model (Indonesian-spec), the latest iteration uses a rear cowl for a sporty look. Key features include a full LED headlight, semi-digital instrument console and petal-type disc brakes on both wheels with the safety net of ABS as well.

The motorcycle continues to use the 249 cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke engine that comes linked to a six-speed gearbox. The fuel-injected motor churns out 39 PS of peak power at 12,500 rpm and 23.5 Nm of maximum torque at 10,000 rpm. In comparison, the engine of the Indian-spec Ninja 300 makes 39 PS of power at 11,000 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm.

Anchoring department includes a single semi-floating 310 mm petal disc at the front and a single 220 mm petal disc at the back. Shock absorption hardware continues to include 41 mm telescopic forks at the front and Bottom-Link Uni-Trak, gas-charged monoshock with adjustable preload at the back.
