2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2, H2 Carbon & H2R launched in India

India Kawasaki Motors has launched the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2, Ninja H2 Carbon and the Kawasaki Ninja H2R. The Ninja H2 costs INR 34.50 lakh, while the Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon costs INR 41 lakh. The top-of-the-line Ninja H2R comes with a price tag of INR 72 lakh (all the prices are ex-showroom India).

The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 range receives several updates in the form of a new air filter, intake manifold, a remapped ECU and performance spark-plugs. Other mechanical upgrades include new brakes and tires. The most significant change is the considerable power gain of 31 hp and 8.2 Nm of torque. Bookings for the Kawasaki Ninja H2 range starts from 1 September and will end on 31 October. The company has revealed the 2019 Ninja H2 range will be available in limited quantities in the country.

Speaking about the launch of the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 range, Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director - India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd, said -

Our Ninja H2 range has an elegant artwork & profound engineering supported by advance technology. When it was launched in India 2016, the response was stunning. I hope we receive the same response from the market especially to the new Ninja H2 which has lofty performance.

Powering the Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon & the standard H2 is a 998 cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, four-valve, supercharged engine that is capable of producing a maximum power of 231 PS (243 PS with RAM air) of maximum power at 11,500 rpm and 141.7 Nm of peak torque at 11,000 rpm. The engine works in tandem with a slipper clutch-assisted 6-speed gearbox.

On the other hand, the Kawasaki Ninja H2R sources power from a 998 cc, four-cylinder, liquid-cooled, supercharged motor that is capable of pumping out of a maximum power of 310 PS (326 PS with RAM air) at 14,000 rpm and a peak torque of 165 Nm at 12,500 rpm. The engine uses the same 6-speed gearbox from the H2 & H2 Carbon variants.

The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 competes with the Ducati Panigale V4. The Ninja H2 range is imported into India as CBU, while the bikes are produced by highly skilled Kawasaki engineers in Japan. The Ninja H2 and H2 Carbon receive stopping power from Brembo Stylema monobloc callipers while the bikes also feature new Bridgestone RS11 tires.

The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 Carbon and the Ninja H2 comes fitted with a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can wirelessly connect with the instrument cluster by using the ‘Rideoloy’ mobile app to access vehicle information like fuel level, riding log, battery condition, and service interval updates.

The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 and Ninja H2 Carbon get the new highly durable “self-healing” paint job with a special coat that allows scuffs and scratches to repair themselves. That said, the 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2R receives the Brembo Stylema monobloc callipers and the highly durable “self-healing” paint job. The motorcycle also gets a "supercharged" emblem on the engine casing.
