2019 Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS in a detailed walkaround video

The Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS has started to arrive at the dealerships, and while it is yet to be launched, a report from earlier this month claimed that the flagship motorcycle from the Indian two-wheeler brand would arrive at INR 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore). Here's a walkaround video of the new model, courtesy YouTube channel Quikr.

The new walkaround video gives a complete 360-degree look at the Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS, revealing all the changes brought with the update. Regular readers would know that the new Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS strikes a balance between the XT300 and the UT300 variants. The bike will be available in only one variant and it will pack the engine specifications of the XT300 along with the hardware of the UT300. The golden colour for the chassis has been removed and it now comes with a more subtle black finish.

In terms of mechanical specifications, the power and torque output numbers on the Mojo 300 ABS sit between the XT300 and the UT300. The 294.72 cc DOHC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, like in the XT300, uses a fuel injection system and delivers 19.34 kW (26.30 PS) at 7,500 rpm and 28 Nm at 5,500 rpm. In comparison, the XT300's churned out 20 kW (27.19 PS) at 8,000 rpm and 30 Nm at 5,500 rpm and the UT300's version delivered 17 kW (23.11 PS) at 7,500 rpm and 25.5 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

The cost-efficient hardware on the new model includes conventional telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged monoshock at the rear. The anchoring tasks are performed by 320 mm single front disc with a fixed radial calliper and 240 mm single rear disc with an axial floating calliper. The callipers are sourced from ByBre. The safety net, as seen in the leaked spec sheet, comprises dual-channel ABS. The bike drops the twin exhaust setup for a single-sided unit.

The Mojo 300 ABS rides on 110/70-17 front and 140/70-17 rear tyres – matching the profile of the UT300. However, unlike the UT300’s MRF-sourced tyres, the Mojo 300 ABS uses Pirelli-sourced Angel CT rubber.

The 2019 Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS is approximately INR 4,000 costlier than the Mahindra Mojo XT300 (ex-showroom Bangalore).
