The fourth generation Suzuki Jimny will make its public debut in July 2018.

Suzuki designers have adopted a neo-retro approach for the Jimny. It gets black front and rear bumper, black grille with signature vertical slats, round headlights, round indicators and fog lamps, bumper mounted tail lights, and a boot lid mounted spare wheel. The Jimny Sierra, which is likely to be the one that will be sold in markets outside Japan, differentiates itself from the regular model thanks to wider bumper, additional protective cladding around wheel arches and sides, and fatter tires wrapped around different looking 5-split spoke alloy wheels.

The official website lists the colour options that will be offered. Two-tone paint schemes with a black roof include - Kinetic Yellow, Brisk Blue Metallic, and Chiffon Ivory Metallic. Single-tone colour options are - Jungle Green, Bluish Black Pearl 3, Medium Gray, Silky Silver Metallic, and Superior White. Additionally, the JDM-spec Jimny is listed in a Pure White Pearl Shade and a two-tone Kinetic Yellow with black roof and bonnet as well.

In addition to the features of XG and XL grades, the top-end Suzuki Jimny XC comes with dual sensor brake support, LED headlamps, headlamp washer, cruise control, ORVM mounted LED turn indicators, and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The cabin gets features like a multifunction steering wheel, 7-inch Smartplay touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and more.

There will be two grades of the Jimny Sierra on offer - JC and JL. Front multi-reflector halogen fog lamps, automatic air conditioning, keyless push-button engine start, electrically retractable ORVMs, smoked glass, 15-inch steel wheels are some of the highlights of the Suzuki Jimny Sierra JL.
