All-new Honda PCX 150 launched in Indonesia

Astra Honda Motor (AHM), the authorised distributor of Honda in Indonesia has launched the all-new Honda PCX 150 in the country. Earlier, the Honda PCX 150 was imported in the country, but the new PCX is now made locally, facilitating better pricing. AHM’s Sunter plant in Indonesia manufactures the scooter, and the company is confident of offering the best aftersales service throughout Honda’s network in Indonesia.

The engine is a 149.3 cc single cylinder SOHC unit with liquid cooling and fuel injection.

The new Honda PCX 150 comes in two variants- ABS and CBS, and both the versions feature rear disc brake as standard. The scooter features a new design with refreshed headlamp and tail lamp, and the instrument cluster is an all-digital affair. It also includes a new Smart Key System integrated with alarm and Answer Back function. The new scooter also comes with a wider set of tyres (100 / 80-14 at the front, and 120 / 70-14 at the rear). at 1,313mm, Honda has made the wheelbase shorter for better control.

Honda claims the scooter has a largest-in-segment 8-litre fuel tank.

Notable features of the new PCX 150 include an all-LED lighting system and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP) technology. It facilitates minimal friction and enhances engine cooling efficiency. The scooter features a DC socket on the front console box, and hazard lamp as well. The all-new Honda PCX 150 comes in Black, White, Red and Light Gold colour choices.
