Aprilia SR 150 Race Edition brochure leaks out
Aprilia SR 150 is the country’s first sports scooter.
This month Aprilia India is set to launch a peppier version of its scooter calling it the Aprilia SR 150 Race. AutosArena has got hold of an electronic brochure of the upcoming product.
The Aprilia SR 150 Race gets ‘Race’ branding, Maze Grey body colour with green graphics. It also gets a golden coloured front disc calliper, red coloured rear wheel rim and similarly coloured spring for the mono shock setup. This variant will be produced at the Baramati facility.
The powertrain is expected to be unchanged. The 154.8 cc mill is capable of producing 10.4 hp of maximum power at 6,750 rpm and 11.4 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 rpm. The scooter gets 14-inch wheels with 120/70 specification tyres at both ends and a 220 mm two piston disc up front. The rear brake is a 140 mm drum unit.
The scooter is also available with a black rubber mat with red elements as an accessory.
The Aprilia SR 150 is priced at INR 67,396 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Race edition can be expected to be a few thousand bucks more expensive than the standard trim.
