Audi S5 Sportback makes public debut in India - IAB Report

Audi India launched the Audi S5 Sportback at a price of INR 62.95 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi and Mumbai) on October 20, and today it was on display at the Autocar Performance Show.
Slotting between the A6 and A7, visual details on the performance-oriented vehicle include platinum grey inserts on the radiator grille, horizontal chrome struts, honeycomb mesh and a single frame grille.
The standouts on the car's interior are the the matt brushed inlays, leather-covered multifunction flat bottomed sport steering wheel, optional S sport seats in the front with S5 embossing and electric seat adjustment.
The car is launched with a 3.0 V6 TFSI engine that generates 333 hp and 440 Nm, coupled to an S Tronic dual clutch automatic transmission which accelerates the car from 0-100 km/h in 5.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 250 km/h.
Fitted with a start-stop system, the car's fuel efficiency is rated at 12.34 km/l.
Audi says the S5 Sportback is an innovation in the segment and is ‘a thrill to drive’ machine. It comes packed with a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen Sound System, MMI Navigation Plus with a 17.78 centimeter color monitor with 3D navigation mapping enabled, Audi Drive Select that personalizes the car's settings, Audi Parking System Plus with rear view-camera and acoustic warnings, eight airbags, and anti-theft wheel bolts.
