The price hike is negligible, and so, the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 continues being the most value-for-money and the most powerful and feature-packed product in its price segment. Its 373.3cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine is tuned to return 40 PS power, which is 5 PS more than its predecessor. The added power is achieved by replacing single overhead camshaft with a dual overhead camshaft and a remapped ECU. The performance bump has resulted in an improved power-to-weight ratio of 217 PS/Ton (Vs 192 PS/Ton). The peak torque output has remained unchanged - 35 Nm.

The hardware specifications have also undergone an upgrade and the 2019 Dominar 400 comes with upside-down telescopic front forks. The rear continues to feature an adjustable monoshock. Other key upgrades on the 2019 model include new twin barrel exhaust, redesigned secondary display, radial front callipers, forged steel side stand, new mirror design with cast aluminium stalks, spacecraft inspired tank pad decals and bungee straps.

The radially mounted calliper at the front is accompanied by a revised position for the disc, which now sits on the left side of the vehicle. The disc size have remained unaltered: 320 mm (front) and 230 mm (rear).
