Bajaj launches new Pulsar range in Nepal, priced between NPR 2.49 - 3.99 Lakhs - IAB Report

Bajaj Pulsar RS200 comes with ABS as standard.

Bajaj Motorcycles has launched three Pulsars in Kathmandu on August 1, these are – Pulsar RS200, AS150 and AS200. The motorcycles have been launched through the company’s authorized importer and distributor – HH Bajaj. The Bajaj RS200 has been priced at NPR 3,99,900 (INR 2.49 Lakhs); while the Bajaj AS200 and AS150 can bought for NPR 2,84,900 (INR 1.77 Lakhs) and NPR 2,49,900 (INR 1.68 Lakhs) respectively.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 produces 24 bhp and 18.6 Nm of torque through a 6-speed gearbox.

The Bajaj RS200 is a fully-faired motorcycle powered by a triple-spark, liquid-cooled, single cylinder 199.5cc engine with fuel injection. It produces 24 bhp and 18.6 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed gearbox. It has a top speed of 141 kmph and comes with ABS for added safety.

Styling wise, the Bajaj RS200 it gets twin-projector head lamps, crystal LED tail lights, muscular styling, nitrox mono suspension and a perimeter frame. Both the AS twins are Adventure Sport motorcycles built on a perimeter frame featuring projector headlamps, tall windscreen and nitrox mono suspension.

The Bajaj AS200 is based on the Pulsar NS platform and gets the same engine coupled to a 6-speed transmission.

The Bajaj AS200 is based on the Pulsar NS platform and gets the same engine nestled in the frame of the 200NS coupled to a 6-speed transmission. The AS150 however, gets a new 149cc air-cooled engine delivering a strong power figure of 16.7 bhp and 13 Nm of torque. Relaying this power to the road is a 5-speed unit.
