The Bajaj Pulsar 125 is powered by a 125 cc single-cylinder, DTS-i mill that features first-in-segment counter-balancer for a refined ride experience. Linked to a five-speed transmission, the carburettor-equipped motor churns out 12 PS of peak power and 11 Nm of maximum torque. In comparison, the Pulsar 150 draws 14 PS (13.80 BHP) of power and 13.4 Nm of torque from its 149.5 cc twin-spark, air-cooled, 2-valve, DTS-i engine.
Conventional telescopic forks at the front and gas-charged, twin-sided springs at the back perform the shock absorption tasks. The safety net includes CBS tech that is identical to the unit of the Platina 110 H Gear. Unlike most of its rivals, the Pulsar 125 uses a mechanical CBS setup (instead of a hydraulic unit). The 17-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in 80/100 section front and 100/90 back tubeless tyres.
The motorcycle is available in three colour options - Neon Blue (with Matte Black body), Solar Red and Platinum Silver. The paint options listed above are visible on the decal above the headlight, Pulsar logo on the tank, grilles on the side panels, “150” badge on the rear panel, pillion grab rail, saddle stitching and rim tapes. The motorcycle that we saw through earlier today was the Neon Blue (with Matte Black body) variant of the Pulsar 125 family.
