Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin Disc ABS onboard footage and braking test [Video]
The ABS-equipped Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin-Disc had started to arrive at dealerships earlier this month. The motorcycle was launched at a price tag of INR 87,226, making it INR 6,432 more expensive than the non-ABS variant. Today we stumbled upon the first ride impressions of the Bajaj Pulsar 150 Twin-Disc ABS via YouTube, giving a detailed walkaround of the motorcycle along with the braking test, refinement levels and more.

The motorcycle shares its graphics theme with the Pulsar 180. The graphics are visible on the fuel tank and the rear panels. The side panels get a carbon-fibre patterned design. Moreover, the motorcycle gets new rim stickers that match the body colour. Updated styling cues also witness the addition of a new engine cowl that adds a sporty look to the 150cc motorcycle.
The new model features a unique Twin-Disc branding on the front fender with the “I” in Twin and Disc designed to mimic a disc brake. The instrument console has been carried forward from the non-ABS model although it now receives the addition of ABS indicator that sits next to the high-beam sign. A carbon-fibre patterned sticker surrounds the console.
The 149cc, 4 Stroke, 2-valve, twin spark, air-cooled, DTS-i engine delivers 14 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 13.4 Nm of peak torque at 6,000 rpm, paired with a five-speed gearbox. The safety net that the 2019 Pulsar 150 Twin Disc gets a single-channel ABS along with a Rear Lift-off Protection (RLP). Suspension duties are continued to be performed by conventional telescopic forks at the front and gas charged twin shock absorbers at the rear. The 17-inch alloy wheels come wrapped in 90/90-17 front and 120/80-17 rear tubeless tyres.
The motorcycle competes against the Yamaha FZ V3.0 series, Suzuki Gixxer 155, Honda CB Hornet and the TVS Apache 160 among others.
