India-made Bajaj Pulsar 160NS launched in Nepal at NPR 259,900

The Bajaj Pulsar range in India has been recently updated to meet BSIV compliance.

Bajaj Auto has launched the Bajaj Pulsar 160NS in Nepal. The bike will be retailed via the authorised dealer network by HH Bajaj.

The Bajaj Pulsar 160NS is styled like the Pulsar 200NS and is torquier than the Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS.

The Bajaj Pulsar 160NS will be competing against the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ, TVS Apache 180 and Honda CB Hornet 160R. The bike was first showcased at a dealer event in Turkey. Bajaj presently retails the Pulsar 150 as well as the Pulsar AS150.

The Bajaj Pulsar 160NS is powered by a 160.3 cc oil cooled, single cylinder triple spark mill which is coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 15.5 PS of maximum power at 8,500 rpm and 14.6 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The Pulsar 160NS tips the scales at just 135 kg 17-inch wheels with 100/80 specification tyre up front and 110/70 in the rear.

The braking system includes disc brakes all around with a single-channel ABS as an option. A rear drum brake variant is also on offer. The styling of the bike is similar to the Bajaj Pulsar 200NS and Bajaj Pulsar 150NS. Colour options include Passion Red, Pearl Metallic White and Sapphire Blue.

The oil cooled 160.3 cc mill in the Bajaj Pulsar 160NS is capable of producing 15.5 PS of maximum power and 14.6 Nm of peak torque.

The Bajaj Pulsar 160NS has been priced at NPR 259,900.
