While previous spyshots of the upcoming fully faired sportbike clearly indicate that the design is borrowed from the Pulsar SS 400 which was unveiled at the Auto Expo, this is the first time we get to listen to the motorcycle's engine sound at full throttle. The bike was previewed at a dealer meet in Turkey recently.
Notable design features of the new Pulsar include projector headlamps, LED daytime running lights, clip-on handle bars, two-piece taillight and a stubby silencer.
The Pulsar 200 SS derives its hardware from the Pulsar 200 NS naked motorcycle. Based on a pressed steel perimeter frame, the bike is suspended by a front telescopic fork and rear monoshock. The wheels are retarded by a single disc each.
