The smaller displacement Bajaj Pulsar models like the Pulsar 150 Classic, Pulsar 150 Twin-Disc and Pulsar 180 could witness a price hike in the same range as the Pulsar 220F with the ABS upgrade.
The safety net also includes rear lift-off protection (RLP) to stop the wheel from lifting up in case of heavy braking. The updated model also features revised graphics and a new engine cowl. The motorcycle can be purchased in four colours – chrome black, laser black (red decals), dyno red (grey decals) and nuclear blue (grey decals).
Specifications are identical to the standard model and the 220cc, oil-cooled motor would continue to deliver 21 bhp of power and 19 Nm of torque. The engine will send power via a five-speed gearbox. A 260 mm disc at the front and a 230 mm unit at the back will provide stopping power.

This is more of a mid-life update to the Pulsar range of motorcycles to comply with the upcoming safety norms. The company would use the BS-VI emission norm upgrade to introduce all-new Pulsar range in 2020. Bajaj is reportedly also working on a 250cc Pulsar motorcycle that will be built around the KTM 250 Duke’s engine. The Pulsar 250 should arrive with the updated range in 2020.
