Maxabout has posted images of the production Bajaj Pulsar CS400, however, the badge under the pillion seat reveals that the motorcycle will be called Bajaj Pulsar VS 400. The naming could be a strategy to integrate the motorcycle under the 'V' brand which currently features the Bajaj V15.

The images show the Bajaj Pulsar VS 400 with dual-channel ABS.

The images reveal the Bajaj Pulsar VS 400 with conventional telescopic front suspension, and front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS. Otherwise, the motorcycle is similar to the Pulsar CS400 concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2014.

Maxabout has also managed to get a hold of the ARAI certificate of the Bajaj Pulsar VS 400, which confirms the engine: A 373.27 cc unit. This is the same engine that powers the KTM Duke 390, and is a single-cylinder unit developing 43.5 PS on the Austrian bike. On the Pulsar VS 400 however, the document reveals a power output of 25.74 kW (34.51 hp) at 8,000 rpm and a gross vehicle weight of 332 kg.

The Pulsar VS 400 will channel its power via a 6-speed gearbox. Its expected to be equipped with LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, Always-On headlight, LED taillights, a primary digital instrument cluster displaying the tachometer and speedometer and a secondary, tank-mounted cluster for the warning lights and other notifications.
