Will be launched in Q3 2016.

Two test mules of the upcoming Bajaj Pulsar CS400 have been spied testing by Indian Autos Blog reader Atif Ahmed in Wardha, Nagpur. Currently in its final phase of testing, the sportiest ever Pulsar will be launched in Q3 2016 (July-September 2016) in India. It's expected to be priced around 1.8 lakhs (ex-showroom).

The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will based on the Bajaj Pulsar RS200's platform, reportedly.

The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 won't be far off from the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 concept from Auto Expo 2014 in terms of design, spyshots suggest. There have been some changes though. Among those visible, are the updated seats and the conventional telescopic front suspension that replaces the upside-down unit of the concept.

The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will likely be powered by a modified version of the KTM Duke 390's 375 cc engine.

The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will be the most powerful Bajaj Pulsar ever. It should be powered by the 375 cc single-cylinder engine that produces 44 PS (43.38 hp) and 35 Nm of torque in the KTM Duke 390. Bajaj will likely tweak this KTM-sourced engine though, by adding its triple-spark ignition technology. This engine would be mated to a 6-speed transmission.
