While Bajaj is yet to announce a replacement for the Pulsar 135LS in India, it has launched the Pulsar NS125 CBS in Colombia. Previously, the motorcycle was launched in Poland in October last year.

The Colombian-spec Bajaj Pulsar NS125 features a carburettor system. Elsewhere, it is available with fuel injection tech.

In terms of mechanical specifications, unlike the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 in Poland, the Bajaj Pulsar NS125 in Colombia employs a carburetted engine. Its 125 cc single-cylinder 4-valve air-cooled engine with the company's DTS-i tech makes 11.8 hp at 8,500 rpm 10.8 Nm of maximum torque at 7,000 engine revs. The motor is linked to a 5-speed gearbox.

In terms of styling, the Pulsar NS125 draws visual cues from the Pulsar 135LS. The fascia includes a sharp design for the headlight that is joined by a dual tone mask and a compact flyscreen. The cockpit comprises a semi-digital instrument console. The tachometer is an analogue meter while the rest of the information is available on the digital display. Similar to the bigger Pulsar models, the instrument console features a carbon-fibre texture surround for a sporty look from the rider’s view.

The fuel tank, side and rear panels are nearly identical to those of the Pulsar 135LS. The shrouds add a muscular look to the motorcycle while the dual-tone finish adds a premium touch to the package. The saddle features a split design, while the pillion grab rail is a sporty, two-piece unit. Unlike the Pulsar 135LS, the 125 cc model is equipped with an engine cowl.

Hardware specifications are basic, and shock absorption tasks are performed by conventional telescopic front fork and twin-sided Nitrox shock absorber at the back. Anchoring department comprises a 240 mm single disc brake on the front wheel and 130 mm drum unit at the rear. The safety net includes combi-braking system.

The motorcycle is priced at 4,699,000 Colombian peso, which roughly translates to INR 97,245 (converted price in INR for representation only).

The Bajaj Pulsar NS125 draws styling cues from the Pulsar 135LS. The Pulsar NS125, as told by Rajiv Bajaj, is not likely to come to the Indian market.
