Bajaj V deliveries to start on March 23 - Report
To compete with the Yamaha SZ-RR V2.0.
Deliveries of the Bajaj V are reported to commence from March 23, according to Financial Express. The publication also reports that the ex-showroom Delhi price of the Bajaj V which is INR 62,000 includes the cost of add-ons like saree guard, crash guard, pillion grab handles and rear seat cowl. The motorcycle has an ex-showroom price of INR 63,682 in Mumbai, INR 62,820 in Chennai and INR 65,498 in Kolkata.
The Bajaj V is marketed as a premium executive bike that measures 2,044 mm in length, 780 mm in width, 1,070 mm in height, 1,355 mm in wheelbase, 165 mm of ground clearance and 780 mm in seat height. The motorcycle is powered by the 149.5 cc DTS-i single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is mated to a five-speed gearbox. The motor produces a maximum power of 12 bhp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13 Nm at 5,500 rpm.

The notable features on the Bajaj V include a conventional fork, standard rear suspension with two shock absorbers, disc brake at the front, drum brake at the rear, black alloy wheels with five twin-spokes in each, wide-section tyres, analog-digital instrument console with colour-changing LED indications, and a removable rear seat cowl.
