Bajaj V spied at dealership, bookings commence - Report

MotorOctane reports that the Bajaj V has reached dealerships and is priced at INR 72,000 (on-road, Mumbai). The publication also says that the motorcycle will be launched next month and deliveries will commence in the last week of March.
Unveiled on the 1st of February, the Bajaj V is billed as a premium commuter that is positioned between the Bajaj Discover 150 and the Bajaj Pulsar 150. It is powered by the familiar 150 cc air-cooled single-cylinder DTS-i engine, tuned to produce around 11 PS of maximum power and 13 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox.

The salient features of the Bajaj V15 include a standard halogen headlamp, an LED taillamp, an analog-digital instrument console with a multi-colour LED display, INS Vikrant badge on fuel tank, seat upholstery with upmarket texturing, a stout exhaust can, disc brake at the front, drum brake at the rear, standard suspension system, 10-spoke cast aluminium alloy wheels, wide-section tyres, and a removable plastic cowl on pillion seat.
