Bajaj V15 introduced in Malaysia as the Modenas V15

Modenas V15 is positioned as a commuter-centric café racer in Malaysia.

Bajaj Auto in collaboration with the Modenas group has also launched the Bajaj V15 in the country along with the two 200 cc Bajaj Pulsar models.

The Bajaj V15 gets a 149.5 cc DTS-i mill that produces 12 PS of power and 12.7 Nm of torque.

The Modenas V15 is powered by a 149.5 cc DTS-i, twin spark, air cooled, single cylinder mill coupled to a 5-speed gearbox. The carburetted engine is capable of producing 12 PS of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 12.7 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. A 125 cc Bajaj V12 is also retailed in India, but Bajaj is not offering the smaller variant to Malaysia.

The Modenas V15 is suspended over 33 mm standard telescopic fork up front and dual nitrox based shocks in the rear. Brakes include a 240 mm disc up front and a drum setup in the rear. The bike also gets a removable cowl for the rear seat which can be removed using the ignition key. Colour options for the Malaysian market includes White-Red and Red-Black combinations.

The motorcycle features a 55-watt headlamp, LED tail lamp and a throaty exhaust note. The fuel tank can store 13-litre of petrol and has a seat height of 780 mm. The V15 has a ground clearance of 165 mm and a kerb weight of 136 kg (3 kg more than the Indian version). The Bajaj V15 is also offered with optional accessories like a top case and saddlebags.

The Malaysian Bajaj V15 has a kerb weight of 136 kg and is 3 kg heavier than the Indian version.

The Modenas V15 has been priced in Malaysia at MYR 5,989 (INR 89,310).
