Benelli TNT 300 & 302R get a price cut of INR 51,000 & INR 60,000 respectively

Benelli India and Adishwar Auto Ride India – Mahavir Group, have announced the new prices for the Benelli 300 and the Benelli 302R in India.

The Benelli TNT 300 costs INR 2.99* lakh, while the Benelli 302R is available at INR 3.10 lakh*.

The 300 cc duos have received a price cut owing to the reduction of manufacturing costs. With the new prices in effect, the TNT 300 costs INR 2.99* lakh while the 302R is available at INR 3.10 lakh*. The former is now INR 51,000 cheaper, while the latter is now INR 60,000 cheaper.

The company hopes that the price reduction will further strengthen the sales of its 300cc products. Speaking about the price cut, Vikas Jhabakh, Managing Director, Benelli India, said:

We strongly believe in the value proposition of our products and customer sentiments towards the brand Benelli. We have witnessed a significant reduction in the manufacturing cost of the TNT 300 and 302R models and this has helped us to pass on the benefit to the biking enthusiasts in India.

In March this year, Benelli India collaborated with HDFC Bank to offer its 300 cc motorcycles on loan at affordable interest rates for a limited period. Customers who repaid the loan amount in 12 months were entitled to no-cost EMI.

To give you a quick recap, the Benelli TNT 300 is a naked roadster while the Benelli 302R is a fully-faired motorcycle. Both models share a 300cc in-line two-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, fuel-injected motor that churns out 38.2 PS of power at 11,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm of peak torque at 10,000 rpm. The engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The TNT 300 and the 302R packs premium hardware like upside-down forks and dual petal-type discs at the front. Shock absorption tasks at the back are performed by a monoshock suspension. The safety net includes dual-channel ABS.

The Benelli TNT 300 competes with the KTM 390 Duke, Kawasaki Z250 and the BMW G 310R, while the Benelli 302R locks horns with the KTM RC390, Yamaha YZF-R3 and the Kawasaki Ninja 300.

Apart from the price reduction, the company also plans to boost its sales by expanding its product portfolio and its reach with new dealerships. Benelli will introduce five models (new bikes and variants) in the Indian market by the end of 2019.
