Benelli TNT135 spotted testing in India for first time
The TNT135 was showcased in India at the Auto Expo 2016.
The Benelli TNT135 has been spotted in India for the first time in Pune by Bikewale. It gets several premium features and can be a very interesting addition to the Benelli range.
Monkey bikes were brought back to India with the launch of the Honda Navi. While that is an affordable and easy to ride two-wheeler, the Benelli TNT135 offers more bite. It gets 41 mm upside down front forks, disc brakes at both ends and a 5 speed manual gearbox. The exhaust will remind you of the MV Agusta. The seat has distinct motocross feel.
The powertrain is a 135 cc single cylinder oil cooled, 4 valve, dual spark mill capable of producing 13 hp of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 10.8 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm. The lattice frame is made of lightweight steel adding to the naked bike feel. The chunky 12-inch wheels will also add to the Benelli TNT135’s handling prowess.
The Benelli TNT135 has a seat height of 780 mm and a ground clearance of 160 mm. The fuel tank can store 7.2 litre of petrol and tips the scale at 121 kg (unladen).
The Benelli TNT135 will be priced below the TNT25 and will be aiming to add to volumes despite being an unconventional offering.
