Mechanically, both the variants use the same engine and gearbox, while the power figures are identical as well. Powering the Benelli TRK 502 range is a parallel-twin 499.6 cc, 8-valve, liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum of 47 bhp at 8,500 rpm and a peak torque of 45 Nm at 5,000 rpm. A six-speed transmission transfers power to the wheel via a chain drive.

We expect the Benelli TRK 502 to be launched in India in the range of INR 5 lakh to INR 5.5 lakh. On the other hand, the off-road-focused Benelli TRK 502X is expected to retail at around INR 6 lakh (both the prices are ex-showroom).
Competition
The Benelli TRK 502 range will be a unique offering in its class and won't have a direct competitor. However, the real competition for the motorcycles will come from the upcoming KTM 390 Adventure, which is expected to be launched before the end of this year.
