LA Live - Bentley Grand Convertible

The familiar 6.75 litre V8 is under the hood.

The elegant Bentley Grand Convertible has been unveiled at the 2014 LA Auto Show. The British luxury brand terms its latest creation as a concept but the topless limo looks production ready in every aspect.

If produced, the Grand Convertible will be an extremely limited collector's item.

The Grand Convertible is described as the "ultimate expression of British automotive luxury." The company also adds that the car is developed to signify its intentions for the future.

The Grand Convertible is essentially a Mulsanne with its roof and rear doors eliminated. Bentley's Chairman and CEO Mr. Wolfgang Dürheimer stated that the concept, if it gets a green light for production, would be highly exclusive and an extremely limited collector's piece.

The interior is upholstered in 14 different naturally tanned leather hides.

Under the hood lies the Mulsanne's familiar 6.75 litre V8 twin-turbo engine which has 530 bhp and a colossal torque of 1,100 Nm.
