In the latest clip, Bentley clearly wants to highlight that the Falcon is not just a super-luxury palace on four wheels, but one that is also capable on any terrain. In short, it's looking to steal the Range Rover's thunder in the luxury SUV segment.

The teaser also gives us the best look yet of the upcoming SUV's design, which draws inspiration from the Continental range and the EXP 9F concept. It sports the trademark mesh grille, a quartet of circular headlights, and "the flying B" side vents that all look similar to smaller Bentleys. Unique to the Falcon are roof rails, a sloping rear window, a sculpted rear tailgate, and wide rear haunches that give the SUV a muscular look.

The Bentley SUV will be based on VW's MLB Evo architecture that will also underpin the next gen Audi Q7.

Being a characteristic trait of a Bentley, the interior will be upholstered with the finest quality of hand-stitched leather and trimmed with hand polished wood and other equally exquisite materials. Since Bentley is targeting wealthy entrepreneurs and executives, expect it to follow a four-seat arrangement with a pair of electronically-adjustable rear seats at the rear, and packed to the gills with technology to improve comfort and convenience.

The Bentley SUV will be based on the Volkwagen's larger MLB-Evo platform that will also underpin the next generation Audi Q7, Porsche Cayenne, and the Lamborghini Urus (if confirmed). It is expected to share the same engine lineup with the Continental series: a 4.0-liter twin turbo V8 engine and a 6.0-liter W12 engine. Also on the cards is a plug-in hybrid variant that will be unveiled in 2017.
