The G310R will be produced at TVS's plant in Hosur with a high-degree of localization, making it the first 'Made in India' BMW bike. It will also be exported from India to global markets.

Given that the G310R will appeal to a much wider audience than their more expensive CBU portfolio, BMW Motorrad will have to increase the number of outlets across India. Currently, they are only represented by two distributors – Deutsche Motoren for Delhi NCR and Navnit Motors for the rest of India.
