BMW India model price list post localization drive - Old vs New

Part localization now stands at 50 percent.

BMW India has announced new prices for its locally-assembled models, after it increased part localization to 50 percent at its Chennai plant. Following are the prices for the models, ex-Showroom, and in brackets is the respective price decrease. The latest prices are compared to those from May 29, 2015.

Localization level on BMW India's locally assembled range is now at 50 percent.

BMW 1 Series:

  1. BMW 118d (Sport Line) – INR 2,950,000 (no changes)

BMW 3 Series:

  1. BMW 320d (Prestige Edition) – INR 3,490,000 (INR 1 lakh)
  2. BMW 320d (Luxury Line Edition) – INR 3,890,000 (INR 1 lakh)
  3. BMW 320d (Sport Line Edition) – INR 3,890,000 (INR 1 lakh)

BMW Gran Turismo:

  1. BMW 3 Gran Turismo (Sport Line) – INR 3,990,000 (no changes)
  2. BMW 3 Gran Turismo (Luxury Line) – INR 4,290,000 (INR 1.6 lakh)

BMW 5 Series:

BMW also assembles the six-cylinder variant of the 5 Series in India.

  1. BMW 520d (Prestige Edition) – INR 4,490,000 (INR 2 lakhs)
  2. BMW 520d (Prestige Plus Edition) – INR 4,790,000 (INR 2 lakhs)
  3. BMW 520d (Luxury Line Edition) – INR 4,990,000 (INR 2 lakhs)
  4. BMW 530d (M Sport) – INR 5,990,000 (INR 2.6 lakhs)

BMW 7 Series:

  1. BMW 730Ld (Prestige) – INR 9,250,000 (no changes)
  2. BMW 730Ld (Eminence) – INR 10,650,000 (no changes)
  3. BMW 730Ld (Signature) – INR 12,520,000 (no changes)

BMW X1:

  1. BMW X1 sDrive20d (xLine) – INR 3,790,000 (no changes)

BMW X3:

The top-end BMW X3 xDrive 30d M Sport was launched in India this week.

  1. BMW X3 xDrive20d (Expedition) – INR 4,690,000 (INR 1 lakh)
  2. BMW X3 xDrive20d (xLine) – INR 5,190,000 (INR 1 lakh)
  3. BMW X3 xDrive30d (M Sport) – INR 5,990,000 (no changes)

BMW X5:

  1. BMW X5 xDrive30d (Expedition) – INR 6,590,000 (INR 3 lakhs)
  2. BMW X5 xDrive30d (Design Pure Experience) – INR 6,990,000 (INR 4.6 lakhs)
  3. BMW X5 xDrive30d (Design Pure Experience 7 Seater) – INR 7,290,000 (INR 3 lakhs)

The BMW 6 Series, Z4, M range of products and the i8 are CBU products and hence see no price decrease.
