BMW and TVS versions of the BMW-TVS K03 street fighter to be launched in India next year - IAB Report
Design previewed by the BMW Concept Stunt G 310 last month.
IndianAutosBlog has learnt that both versions of the BMW-TVS K03 (codename) street fighter motorcycle, the BMW variant and its more affordable, TVS version, will be launched in India next year. Sources have confirmed that the two versions will follow a similar product strategy as with the KTM Duke 200 and Bajaj Pulsar 200 NS.
It is unclear if they will be launched together, but the production of at least one of the variants will start by the end of January 2016, and a reveal at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo is on the cards.
The TVS version of the K03 will be sold through regular TVS dealerships phase-wise, while the BMW model will be retailed at BMW Motorrad showrooms whose presence will be expanded next year.
BMW Motorrad unveiled the BMW Concept Stunt G 310 naked motorcycle at the Salao Duas Rodas motorcycle show in São Paulo early last month. The highlights on the stunt concept like its single-cylinder engine, suggest that it is based on the K03's platform.

Reports have suggested that the K03 will spawn a sportsbike and a GS-inspired adventure tourer in addition to the street fighter that will be launched next year.
