Speaking to the analysts, Radhakrishnan said:
We will start introducing BS-VI from November, early part of November, and start supplying it to the market. Definitely, last quarter of this year will be completely BS-VI supplies into the market, so that we can proactively remove all the BS-IV, sell the BS-IV, and we are ready for the March 31 deadline, given by the government. So we are working towards that. And always we keep about 5 weeks of forward sales stock.
While Radhakrishnan confirmed the launch timeline for the BS-VI models, he remained tightlipped about the finer details such as product name, or the expected price increase over the outgoing BS-IV motorcycles. So what can you expect to see from the Hosur-based two-wheeler brand in the coming days?
India Yamaha Motors has confirmed that it will start rolling out its BS-VI compliant motorcycles from this month. Similarly, we expect TVS Motor Company to update its motorcycle portfolio before introducing the BS-VI scooter range. Thus, we could see the updated Apache series enter the Indian market, the Apache RTR 160 4V to be specific.
TVS introduced the Bluetooth-enabled Apache RTR 200 4V ahead of the festive season, and we are sure that the company will aim to clear the existing stock before launching the BS-VI model. The Apache RR310, too, was recently updated with the addition of the slipper/assist clutch, among other changes. Thus, we do not expect to see its BS-VI version this month either.
The BS-VI compliant Apache RTR 200 4V and the Apache RTR 160 4V have already been spotted on several occasions in the past. The updated models will carry new LED headlight and redesigned DRLs. Expect the updated motorcycles to carry a 10-15% premium over their respective BS-IV versions.

Can we expect the Zeppelin Concept-based cruiser? Probably not. The Zeppelin Concept-based cruiser motorcycle is expected to arrive in early 2020. We are yet to see any spy photographs of the cruiser, and thus we do not expect to be launched in November.
