Bugatti sells 400th Veyron, just 50 left before production closes

Bugatti has announced that the 400th Veyron has been produced and sold.

The Veyron, with production limited to only 450 units, made its debut in 2005. It has since found 300 customers for its coupes and 100 for its roadster models, meaning just 50 cars are left to be delivered.

The milestone 400th unit was the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Legend Jean-Pierre Wimille Edition, which is limited to only three units. This special car was bought by a customer in the Middle East for a sum of 2.13 million EUR (approx. 18 crore INR).

The Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Jean-Pierre Wimille Edition comes in a two-tone exterior finish and with interior in racing blue and black finish. It is powered by a 8-liter W16 quad-turbo engine which produces 1,200 HP of power and 1,500 Nm of torque. Its top speed is 408 kph and can sprint from 0-100 kph in 2.6 seconds.
