CFMoto moves launch date to 19 July
Previously, CFMoto had announced to launch its products in the Indian market on 4 July but the heavy rains and flooding in the financial capital postponed the arrival of the Chinese brand in our country. The company has now announced that it will hold the launch event on 19 July.

CF Moto will launch four products in the Indian market on 19 July – 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT. The 300NK and the 650NK naked roadsters would be ideal for city riding while the 650MT and the 650GT would serve the touring enthusiasts. Once launched, the 300NK will rival the likes of KTM 390 Duke, BMW G 310 R and Honda CB300R. The 650NK will compete against the Kawasaki Z650 and the Benelli 600i, while the 650MT will lock horns with the Kawasaki Versys 650 and the Suzuki V-Storm 650. Lastly, the 650GT will compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 650.
CFMoto and AMW Motorcycles aim to sale 10,000 motorcycles in India annually. The Chinese brand will commence operations with BS-IV certified models while the BS-VI compliant products would arrive by the end of this year.
The 300NK draws power from a 292.4 cc single-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine with a fuel injection system that makes 34 PS of peak power at 7,200 rpm and 20.5 Nm of max torque at 8,800 rpm. The features list of the naked roadster includes LED lighting (headlight, blinkers and tail lamp), coloured TFT display, upside-down forks at the front and split seats. Once launched, the 300NK will be the first product in its segment with two riding modes – rain and sport.
The bigger naked roadster, the 650NK, will draw 61.54 PS at 9,000 rpm and 56 Nm at 7,000 rpm from its 649.3 cc parallel twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 8-valve (4 valves per cylinder), DOHC engine. Surprisingly, unlike the smaller naked roadster, the 650NK comes with conventional telescopic forks at the front. However, do note that the hardware matches its direct rival, the Kawasaki Z650. Full-LED lighting will be standard.

The 650MT and the 650GT would also use the 649.3 cc parallel twin-cylinder motor, although the performance numbers are different on both the models. The 650MT draws 70.7 PS at 8,750 rpm and 62 Nm at 7,000 rpm from the engine while the 650GT draws 61.2 PS at 9,000 rpm and 58.5 Nm at 7,000 rpm. The hardware specifications are also different. The 650MT uses upside-down telescopic forks at the front while the 650GT comes equipped with conventional units.
