The Chinese two-wheeler manufacturer will offer its complete range of products – the 300NK, 650NK, 650MT and 650GT – from the outlet. Regular followers would know that the brand will operate in just six cities – Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Guwahati and Kolkata – in the initial phase. The company currently imports its motorcycles via the CKD route, and assemble them at AMW Motorcycles’ facility in Hyderabad. Local assembly has enabled the two-wheeler brand to price its products competitively.
CFMoto 300NK is the most affordable product in its portfolio. The entry-level model retails at INR 2.29 lakh*. The 650NK, 650MT and the 650GT, too, retail at competitive prices. The 650NK roadster is priced at INR 3.99 lakh* while the 650MT and the 650GT are available at INR 4.99 lakh* and INR 5.49 lakh* respectively. However, except for the 650 GT, all models carry an introductory price tag.
CFMoto may enter into a joint venture to manufacture motorcycles locally, and we may see even more competitive prices on the products.
Pitched against the KTM 390 Duke, Honda CB300R and the BMW G 310 R, the CFMoto 300NK draws power from a 292.4 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valve engine that delivers a peak power of 33.9 PS at 7,200 rpm and maximum torque of 20.5 Nm at 8,800 rpm. The 650 range uses a 649.3 cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor that comes in different tunings. Check out the peak power and torque figures for the 650 range in the table below:
Model | Max Power | Max Torque |
650NK | 61.54 PS at 9,000 rpm | 56 Nm at 7,000 rpm |
650MT | 70.7 PS at 8,750 rpm | 62 Nm at 7,000 rpm |
