Chevrolet Trailblazer facelift spotted testing in Brazil - Spied

Chevrolet is prepping a facelift for the Chevrolet Trailblazer, which was spotted testing in Brazil. Spyshots from Auto Segredos provide a first look at what can be expected, with respect to exterior changes.

The headlights appear to be similar to the Chevrolet Onix, and high end variants will have LED daytime lights.

Up front, the facelifted Trailblazer gets a new engine hood, headlights, fenders and bumper. The headlights appear to be similar to the Chevrolet Onix, and high end variants will have LED daytime lights. The dual grille is retained, although will be slightly re-profiled for an edgier look. The rear end will get updated taillamps and bumper designs.

No changes are reported for the interior of the car. As with any facelift, expect updates to the MyLink infotainment system, seat upholstery and trim, and interior features.

The facelifted Trailblazer will offer the same 2.8-liter Duramax turbodiesel capable of 200 hp and 500 Nm of torque and a 3.6-liter V6 petrol engine with 277 hp. It will, reportedly, offer a 2.5-liter EcoTec petrol engine producing 202 hp and 259 Nm of torque, in select markets. Expect the Trailblazer facelift to have its premiere later in the year in South America.
