Citroen has revealed the new Citroen C1 at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Citroen C1 was first launched in 2005 and has racked up close to 760,000 units in sales since then. The new C1 is available both as a 3-door and a 5-door hatch, along with a new open-top version called the Airscape.

The hatchback gets twin headlamps separated by a body panel, a combination that the company terms 'Cheerful.' The car's prowess as a city runabout is accentuated by its 3.46 m length and its 4.80 m turning radius says the company.

A 7-inch touchscreen on the inside, along with Mirror Screen technology that will ape the user's cell phone display on the screen. It can also be fitted with hands-free entry and drive, with a reversing camera, and with hill­start assist.

The C1 is powered by a 1.2 litre 3-cylinder petrol engine developing 82 bhp and 118 Nm. It delivers 23.25 kmpl and has CO2 emissions of 99g/km. It has a 0-100 kph acceleration of 11 seconds, and the car weighs 840 kg.
