Custom Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 - BIMS 2019 Live

Royal Enfield is displaying two custom models at the 2019 Bangkok International Motor Show. The first, which we brought to you earlier this week, was the Continental GT 650 based Vayu. The second motorcycle is a custom Interceptor INT 650 called 'The Prime Project', from Zeus Custom. It features a cafe racer persona.

The custom Royal Enfield Interceptor INT 650 features a dual tone finish that comprises black base paint with golden stripes across the length. The front of the bike retains the round headlight shape, but the mask gets a golden finish while the housing has been blacked out to match the paint theme of the body.

The fascia is followed by a single-pod instrument console that carries the dual tone theme of the motorcycle. The dial shows only the speedometer. The revised cockpit gets a clip-on style handlebar for sportier ergonomics. The standard bike, as regular readers would know, comes with a relatively tall set unit for an upright riding position. The switchgear has been replaced with aftermarket buttons.

The fuel tank gets Zeus Custom’s logo along with the standard motorcycle’s name. The top of the tank comes with chrome filler cap that adds a nice contrast to the package. The entire top body of the custom Interceptor INT 650 is formed by a single-piece structure. The tank is followed by a rider-only seat while the rear gets a cowl style finish that adds to the cafe racer look of the motorcycle.

On the sides, there are custom-made exhaust that, like the standard motorcycle, feature twin outlets – one placed on either side. The exhaust pipes feature a matte silver finish with golden tips.

As in the case of the custom Continental GT 650, the wheels of the custom Interceptor INT 650 are wrapped in fatter tyres. Hardware specifications have been retained from the standard Interceptor INT 650, and the motorcycle from Zeus Custom rides on wire-spoke wheels. Shock absorption tasks are performed by telescopic front forks and twin-sided springs at the rear. Anchoring department is handled by disc brakes on both ends, and the motorcycle features the safety net of dual-channel ABS.
