A KTM 200 Duke from Indonesia has dropped its modern roadster look for retro attire, and it looks one of the best mod-jobs that we’ve seen on the little Austrian. YouTuber Atenx Katros has shared the video of the customised KTM 200 Duke.

The motorcycle gets a complete makeover, featuring retro styled, custom-built fuel tank, new side panel, new radiator surrounds and a custom engine underbelly guard. Upfront, the motorcycle features a round headlight with projector illuminators that light up the road ahead. The black headlight mask gels well with the stock upside down telescopic forks. Another noticeable custom element to the front is the new fender that is shorter and reveals more of that front tyre.

Speaking of tyres, the motorcycle uses a pair of knobby units that come wrapped on the stock alloy wheels. The motorcycle is not meant to go serious off-roading but with those knobby tyres and a proper engine guard for protection, you can take the beaten path occasionally. The aftermarket exhaust, which replaces the stock underbelly unit, helps get better ground clearance too.

The motorcycle also gets a black handlebar with new bar-end grips and round rear view mirrors that are aimed to complement the retro styling.

Behind the aforementioned custom fuel tank is a new saddle that replaces the split-seat on the stock motorcycle. The ribbed patter further accentuates the retro character of the machine. The sub-frame of the motorcycle has been customised to fit the new elements.

At the rear is a custom fender along with a compact, aftermarket tail light that occupies the space behind the new seat.

The combination of the orange paint with a black strip on the fuel tank adds to the retro charm of the motorcycle and it’s a proper customisation job that deserves a round of applause.

The KTM 200 Duke gets a massive makeover, now featuring retro-styling and various custom panels. The motorcycle gets new headlight, fuel tank, seat and tyres to name a few changes.

There is no mention of any mechanical updates. Thus, the motorcycle most likely draws maximum power of 25 PS at 10,000 rpm and peak torque of 19.2 Nm of at 8,000 revs from its 199.5cc single cylinder, liquid cooled engine. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.
