Daihatsu Terios facelift (Toyota Rush's cousin) mini SUV leaked - Indonesia
Unlikely to see mechanical changes.
The Daihatsu Terios (Toyota Rush) is heading for a facelift and here are the first images of the mini SUV from Indonesia.
Designers have clearly opted for a bolder styling with a redesigned front fascia, a more aggressive looking bumper, LED daytime running lights and a chrome grille. The rear sees modest changes with a new taillamp design with integrated LED units, and a redesigned bumper and spare wheel cover.
What is unlikely to change is the engine of the Terios, which uses a 1.5-liter four-cylinder VVT motor capable of 109 PS (107.4 bhp) at 6,000 rpm and 144 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The mini SUV is available with a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed manual.
The current generation Terios/Rush was spotted testing in India recently. However, sources tell us that the car is being used by a rival manufacturer for benchmarking purposes. The current generation Rush will not launch in India, but chances for the next generation model (with capability to offer a diesel engine) look bright.

At this point, it is worth mentioning that the Premier Rio is derived from the first generation of the Daihatsu Terios.
