Datsun had its first major outing at the Auto Expo since its revival in July last year. Presented newly at the show was the Datsun redi-Go concept and the Datsun Go+ MPV. The Go+, as our readers may recall, was shown at the Indonesia International Motor Show in September last year.

The Go+ is a unique MPV in that it measures under 4 meters in length. Yet, Datsun engineers have managed to fit three rows of seats in the car. Based on the Go hatchback, which in turn is based on the Nissan Micra's V Platform, the Go+ will be powered by a three-cylinder 1.2-liter petrol engine.

At the product's showcase in India, we were told that the Go+ will be launched in the country by the end of this year. It will join Datsun India's portfolio, which by that time, will feature the Go hatchback (the Go launches next month in India).

Production of the Go+ will take place at Renault-Nissan's Chennai facility, which started rolling out the Go hatchback earlier this week.
