DC Design unveils GWAGON lounge for Toyota Fortuner

Gets rid of the second and third row seats for a pair of captain chairs and a console.

DC Design has unveiled a new GWAGON lounge package for the Toyota Fortuner, similar to Lounge packages offered for the Toyota Innova Crysta.

As with any of DC's lounge package for full-size vehicles, the seats of second and third row are stripped for a comfy pair of captain seats with power foldout footrest, and wrapped in leather with diamond patterns. It also has a comprehensive console between the driver and rear cabins which can be optionally leather wrapped.

The console integrates power foldout tables, a 7L drinks chiller, a pair of 10 inch entertainment screens operated through an AV touchscreen, while an iPad mini can be equipped optionally. Finally, the door inserts have wood accent orientation.

Being a lounge package, there are no mechanical updates. The Fortuner can be had with one of two engine options: a 122 kW (166 PS) 2.7-litre petrol and 133 kW (177 PS) 2.8-litre diesel engine, which are available with a 6-speed manual or automatic. A 4×4 system is only available in the top-end 2.8 version. The more fuel efficient diesel variant is capable of averaging a fuel mileage of 12 km/L (manual) and 11 km/L (automatic).
