Jawa motorcycles made a comeback to the Indian market in November last year, and while the online bookings were open on the launch day, the deliveries began in March 2019. The company ensured a broad reach in the country before commencing the deliveries of motorcycles. Classic Legends inaugurated the 100th Jawa outlet in India in April.
Meanwhile, Classic Legends also announced the launch of the prices and started accepting the bookings for rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS variants of the Jawa Classic and Forty-Two. Check out the prices* of the single-channel and dual-channel ABS equipped Jawa motorcycles below:
Model | Single-Channel ABS Variant | Dual-Channel ABS Variant |
Jawa Classic | INR 1,64,000 | INR 1,72,942 |
Jawa Forty-Two | INR 1,55,000 | INR 1,63,942 |
Both single-channel and dual-channel ABS variants use identical engine specifications. Paired with a six-speed transmission, the 293 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, DOHC motor delivers 27 BHP and 28 Nm of max torque. The ARAI certified fuel economy rating stands at 37.5 km/l.
Classic Legends has received a positive response for the Jawa motorcycles and it had closed their online bookings in December last year. The two bikes are sold out until September this year. Rear disc brake and dual-channel ABS were added to the Jawa Classic and Forty-Two to bring their feature list at par with the Royal Enfield Classic 350.

Apart from the motorcycles, Classic Legends also offers several accessories and Jawa branded merchandise through its showrooms. The optional accessories for Jawa motorcycles include crash guards, luggage rack and a pillion backrest. The bikes come with conventionally placed rear-view mirrors, while bar-end mounted units would also be available via the optional accessories. Buyers can also buy Jawa branded safety gear, t-shirts and more merchandise right from the showroom.
