Adds a bit of character and more urban appeal to the S-Cross.

A Maruti S-Cross has undergone a minor visual makeover by Delhi-based AK Customs, the highlight being the dual tone exterior and stripes. Unlike the Vitara Brezza or Ignis, Maruti does not offer extensive customisation for the S-Cross from the dealership-level, so the only solution to personalise the S-Cross is through customisation shops.

The S-Cross has a white exterior paint job contrasted by a matte black roof, pillars, and ORVM caps. It also has black, red and white stripes running across the hood, roof and tailgate, contrasting red handles, custom 5 spoke alloy rims, and a chrome-finished exhaust tailpipe. To finish it off, the 2-slat grille has been replaced with a simple mesh grille, and an interior with red dashboard, steering wheel and seat upholstery. Overall, the customisation adds a bit of character and a more urban appeal to the S-Cross.

The Maruti S-Cross is available with two engine options: a 1.3-litre diesel engine that produces 66 kW (88.47 hp) and 200 Nm of torque paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, and a 1.6-litre diesel engine that develops 88 kW (117.96 hp) and 320 Nm of torque sending power to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission.

Maruti is prepping a facelift for the S-Cross, which is reported to arrive during Diwali. It was, for the first time, spotted testing last month, featuring most of the changes from the international-spec version built in Hungary.
