The Euro-spec 2019 Hyundai i10 had its stage debut at the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show this week. Here are its live images from the show, covering its exterior and interior in detail.

The Euro-spec Hyundai i10 is instantly recognised from its sportier front bumper and grille layout, the 16-inch alloy wheels and the uniquely designed LED DRLs.

The Euro-spec 2019 Hyundai i10 looks sportier than the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios sold in India. It has a sportier front bumper and grille layout, uniquely designed LED DRLs and bigger, 16-inch alloy wheels, differently structured rear combination lamps, single reverse light positioned separately on the rear bumper, rear fog lamp (not offered in the India-made car) and a slightly differently designed tailgate. Inside, the design is the same, but more advanced equipment is offered, including cruise control, sat-nav and a plethora of additional safety features.

The Euro-spec 2019 Hyundai i10, is packed to the gill. An 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and satellite navigation, Bluelink connected car features, wireless charging and cruise control are some of the equipment highlights. On the safety front, it comes with Hyundai SmartSense active safety and driving assistance features in adherence to stern European safety standards. Forward Collision Assist, High Beam Assist, Lane Keep Assist System, Driver Attention Warning and the Intelligent Speed Limit Warning are a part of this safety pack.

The Euro-spec 2019 Hyundai i10 benefits from cruise control, sat-nav and many additional features over the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.

The 2019 Hyundai i10 measures 3,670 mm in length, 1,680 mm in width and 1,480 mm in height. It has a 2,425 mm wheelbase and a 149 mm ground clearance. It offers 252 litres of boot space. Engine options include a 1.0-litre MPi three-cylinder petrol unit (67 PS/96 Nm) and a 1.2-litre MPi four-cylinder petrol unit (84 PS/118 Nm). The transmission choices, common to both the naturally aspirated engines, are 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual. Made in Turkey, the Euro-spec third-gen model packs Idle Stop and Go (ISG) feature for greater fuel efficiency, and that too as standard. Moreover, there's also an option for an ECO pack, which includes an adjusted gear ratio, 14-inch wheels and four-seat layout.

In comparison, the Hyundai i10 Nios is 3,805 mm long, 1,680 mm wide and 1,520 mm tall. It has a 2,450 mm wheelbase. The official ground clearance figure is unavailable. The boot space is slightly more in the India-made car - 260 litres. Under the hood, is either the 1.2-litre Kappa naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine producing 83 PS and 11.6 kg.m (113.76 Nm) of torque or the 1.2-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine good for 75 PS and 19.4 kg.m (190.25 Nm). 5-speed manual and 5-speed automated manual are the transmission choices. ISG is not available even as an option.
