Euro-spec Fiat Punto successor - Rendering
Could arrive in 2018, if production is green lit.
Italian publication OmniAuto has created a rendering of the Euro-spec Fiat Punto successor with a Fiat Tipo-inspired design. FCA has not assured that a successor to the Euro-spec Fiat Punto is in the pipeline, but have confirmed that there will not be a next gen Punto for European markets.
The Fiat Punto successor is currently under development in Brazil and is internally referred to as the 'Fiat X6H'. However, the car seen in the image is rendered with changes that could be made if a Euro-spec X6H is in the works. So far, little is known about the future of the Punto hatchback for Europe.
It was reported earlier that there will be two versions of the Fiat Punto successor, and the second version could be a spruced up and safer iteration made for Europe. If a Euro-spec Fiat Punto successor is in the works, expect it to launch in Europe around a year after it goes on sale in Brazil.

Fiat's new GSE Firelfy engine will be made in Poland, and thus, they could be offered in the Euro-spec Fiat Punto successor. The options may also include turbocharged versions of the 1.0-litre and 1.3-litre engines. There could be a performance variant too, likely powered by the 1.3-litre turbocharged engine.
