Bajaj Auto will be launching the facelifted Street and Cruise variants of the Bajaj Avenger 220 in January 2018, reports Bikewale.

The Cruise variant features highway comfort handlebars and spoke wheels for a more classic cruiser look.

The website spotted the two camouflaged test mules in Pune. Coming to the updates, the two bikes feature an all-digital digital display housed in inside the same single-pod cluster. The tank display is digital as well. The Cruise variant now sports a larger windshield and split seats.

The bike continues to use the 220 cc single cylinder mill with air and oil cooling. The engine generates 19.03 PS of power at 8,400 rpm, and 17.5 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. Transferring the power is a 5-speed transmission. Suspension bits include telescopic front forks, and twin rear shock absorbers.

The Avenger Street variant comes with alloy wheels and lower handlebars.

The test mule also features a single channel ABS unit, with a drum at the rear. Brakes are likely to be the same 260 mm front disc, and 130 mm rear drum combination. Expect Bajaj to include new graphics and paint schemes for its bikes as well. The new versions of the Avenger are likely to command a marginal premium of INR 2,000 for the non-ABS version, and around INR 12,000 for the single-channel ABS version.
