The facelifted Ford Everest (facelifted Ford Endeavour) is now available in its first market - Thailand, which is home to its mother plant. The new model features minor design changes, equipment changes and revisions to the engine line-up.

The new Ford Everest (new Ford Endeavour) has subtle exterior enhancements.

The 2018 Ford Everest has very subtle design revisions, most concentrated at the front. It features a new radiator grille with three single horizontal slats in it, beefier front bumper and a frame for the lower air intake. There are no changes to the profile, save for the new six-double-spoke wheels.

As IAB reported in April, the Ford Everest has received two new convenience features with the mid-life update - passive keyless entry and push-button start. A foot-activated power tailgate is also available now. Ford has enhanced the SUV’s safety with the introduction of an Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) system that detects both vehicles and pedestrians ahead.

The old Ford Everest was available with a 2.2-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine (160 PS/385 Nm) diesel engine and 3.2-litre turbocharged five-cylinder (200 PS/470 Nm) diesel engine. The new Ford Everest comes with a new 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that produces 180 PS and 420 Nm of torque and a new 2.0-litre twin-turbo diesel engine that develops 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque. These engines are from the new Ford Ranger and the new Ford Ranger Raptor respectively. A 10-speed automatic transmission has replaced the 6-speed automatic transmission. A 4x4 system is optional.

The new Ford Everest comes with several new convenience features.
