Performance Fiat Avventura 'Powered by Abarth' - Spied
Expected to launch soon after the Abarth Punto.
Team Fiat Moto Club has new images showing the Fiat Abarth Avventura, or the Avventura Powered by Abarth, as it will be called and marketed. Spyshots show the keyfob, the 16-inch Scorpion alloy wheels and the badge on the vehicle.
The Avventura Powered by Abarth is expected to launch soon after the Abarth Punto, which is reported to have its market launch on October 19. The Abarth Avventura will also be powered by the same 1.4-liter T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine, which will deliver 140 hp and 210 Nm of torque on the crossover. It'll be paired to a 5-speed manual transmission.
On the performance front, the Abarth Avventura will be able to sprint to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds, which is only 1.1 seconds slower than the Abarth Punto. Fiat India will claim a fuel efficiency of 17.1 km/l for the Abarth Avventura, which is higher in comparison to the Abarth Punto's 16.3 km/l. The Abarth Avventura will also receive disc brakes on all wheels, much like the Abarth Punto.

Unlike the 'boy-racer' Abarth Punto, which will get racing stripes, body decals, a Scorpion logo on the roof and contrast wing mirror caps, the Abarth Avventura will sport subtle exterior changes: the alloys and the badges will be the only changes.
